The SmackMan
Created in 2018, very early in the NFT context, it is a consistently recurring figure rather than a single motif. Conceived as an avatar or alter ego, it carries a certain ironic distance.
Visually, it is clearly recognizable and often appears in a slightly absurd context. Rather than being trend-driven, the project has been developed over the long term.
NFTs are not only collected as digital assets but can also be presented on dedicated displays, allowing them to exist as visible works rather than remaining stored unseen.

Only One
The collab by Plutonic Mind and Reinhard Schmid explores the theme of singularity in illness, identity, and memory. Inspired by the zebra as a symbol for rare disease, the piece blends sacred iconography, slightly misaligned mechanics, and a solitary high heel. The music by Plutonic Mind dovetails with the visual cadence. Written at 125 BPM across 18 bars, it includes a deliberate pause at the end that ruptures the flow to mirror the lone “X” and the barcode’s cold arrest.

Whale Machine
Whale Machine is a baroque-ish ode to divine absurdity. A gilded techno-whale emerges and retreats from its vault, surrounded by mechanical arms frozen in praise. Part relic, part relic-revealer, it blurs worship and automation. This animated 3D piece fuses kinetic sculpture with cynical theater, where gold, porcelain, and machine precision reflect a world in which the sacred is mass-produced and awe becomes choreography.
